"The 2008 Next Wave Festival ROCKED!"

But don’t take our word for it. Tens of thousands of people kept coming back to many of of the Festival’s 61 shows across 40 or so Melbourne venues. For those 16 days in May it was a wild and wonderful ride, and entirely worth it.

If you missed it, you really missed it: 1300 people at the opening night at Fed Square, hundreds running through the Melbourne Museum with Canada’s The Movement Movement, thousands at our two Nightclub projects, and thousands more who got along to the exhibitions, performances (dance and theatre) and new media works across venues public, private and everything else inbetween.

We hope you liked it all.

Now, we get going with our touring programs, and plan for Kickstart 2009, our non-Festival year artist developement activity.
