Private Dances' Artists Announced

After a call out last year, and a rigorous selection process, Next Wave is pleased to announce the artists commissioned for Private Dances, a major film and dance project in the 2010 Next Wave Festival.

Five artists have been selected to each create a new dance-screen work for the project. They are Kristy Ayre, Sarah-Mace Dennis, Paula Lay and Cobie Orger from Victoria and Sam Fox from Western Australia.

We’ll release more about the project as it develops, but for now we can say it will feature a diverse cross section of super-fine work, by a new generation of top-notch dancers, choreographers and film makers. (Of course!)
