New shows by THE TAR GANG, in Melbourne
In their first major appearance since unleashing the sellout Four Rogues at this year’s 2008 Next Wave Festival, Pete and the Tar Gang bring their redeveloped musical storytelling show, Songs Of The Hollow Bone Moon to The Butterfly Club, for two late night shows in the first weekend of August.
In one hour of ramshackle madness, the Gang regale a stunned and spellbound audience with ‘wild old musical tales’ of ghosts, nefarious characters, the sea, monstrous ‘Carbon Towns’ and Scottish yetis.
